Hamilton police seek man responsible for hate speech inside HSR bus

Hamilton police shared a video of hate speech inside an HSR bus in hopes of finding the man who filmed himself hurling transphobic and racist words at a group of people.

Hamilton police believe the hate incident happened on August 1st on an HSR bus in the area of Gage park at the Lawrence Road entrance. The video appears to be captured by the man using the slurs.

The video starts with the man insulting two people with transphobic and homophobic slurs. The man then directs his attention to others on the bus, including an older woman and a younger man who he directs a racist comment later in the video.

The man then films himself leaving the bus under his own power at Gage park on Lawrence Road.
