Hamilton police seek man after sexual assault at bus stop

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man after a female was sexually assaulted earlier this month.
Officers said a man approached a female who was alone at a bus stop near Upper James St. and Fennell Ave. around 11:15 p.m. on June 10.
The man quickly spoke with the victim before sexually assaulting her by grabbing and jumping on her.
The victim fought the man off and then the man ran away in an unknown direction.
Police said the man was not known to the female.
The male suspect is described as Black and 20 to 30 years old. He is clean shaven and has short black hair. He was last seen wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the front, work boots, track pants and a backpack with a green stripe down the middle and either grey or white sides.
