Hamilton police seek driver who struck pedestrian, fled scene

Hamilton police are appealing to the public after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that subsequently fled the scene last week.
Officers say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. on March 6 when a pedestrian was walking their dog on Jameston Avenue.
Investigators say a grey hatchback larger than a sedan allegedly struck the pedestrian and did not remain at the scene.
Paramedics brought the pedestrian to hospital with unspecified injuries. The dog was not injured.
Police are asking homeowners in the area to review their security cameras around the time of the incident.
