Hamilton police seek assault victim who may be seriously injured

Hamilton police are looking for an assault victim who they believe was seriously injured yesterday morning.

Officers were called to the area of Parkdale Ave. North and Melvin Ave. shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday for a report of an assault. However, the victim fled the scene before police arrived.

Investigators have been unable to find the victim and are concerned for their well-being.

Police are searching for Cody Comeau, 30, of Hamilton. He is described as five-foot-10, approximately 140 lbs and having a thin build. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweater, dark grey shorts and black running shoes.

The suspect involved in this investigation has been arrested and there are no concerns for public safety.
