Hamilton police searching for shooting suspect

Hamilton police are searching for a man wanted in a shooting earlier last week.

On Sunday, June 12 at around 4:30 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the are of Hess Street North and Market Street. Two men sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds and several vehicles were damaged.

Police say they have now positively identified the shooter as 21-year-old Alexander La of Hamilton. A warrant has been obtained for his arrest.

La is described as Asian, 5’9″, 154 lbs with long black hair. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous and at this time, his whereabouts are unknown.
