Hamilton police searching for missing 29-year-old woman

Hamilton police are asking the public for help finding a missing 29-year-old woman.

They say Amanda Cowie was last seen at her home in the central mountain area around 7 p.m. on May 24.

The following day, Cowie told her family she was going to a job interview and planned to head home afterwards, but never returned.

Cowie is five feet six inches tall, with a medium build, and weighs 140 to 150 lbs.

She has bleach blonde hair with orange roots and green eyes and several tattoos, including a large flower and anchor that says “refuse to sink” on her right shoulder, a moon on the back of her neck, a chef’s knife, and a slice of pizza.

Her means of travel remains unknown.
