Hamilton police search for missing man with dementia

Hamilton police are searching for a missing 72-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

Robert Hugoning was last seen on Wednesday around 10 a.m. near Victoria Ave. North and Barton St. He was wearing a black leather jacket, black pants, a light coloured scarf, loafer style shoes, and a Medic Alert bracelet.

Police say the senior is known to use the transit system and walks slowly with his head down.

Hugoning is described as white, five-foot-seven, and roughly 140 lbs. His hair is dark with tight curls and he has a moustache.

They say he may be confused due to dementia and police are concerned for his well-being.
