UPDATE

Hamilton police are thanking the public for its help in locating a missing 26-year-old man with autism.

Mapenzi Tchashenyi was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday leaving his home in the area of King St. East and Victoria Ave. North.

Hamilton police issued a news release late Wednesday saying the man was safely located around 4:30 p.m. on New Year’s Day and had been reunited with his family.
