Hamilton police locate missing 12-year-old girl

Hamilton police are thanking the public for their help in locating a missing girl.

The 12-year-old was last seen between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Thursday at her home in Hamilton.

She was on her way to school but police say she never arrived.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m. Friday, Hamilton police said the girl had been located safe.

They say she returned home shortly before 8 a.m.
