Hamilton Police say overnight fire not considered suspicious
Hamilton Police say an overnight fire at a home near Cootes Paradise is not considered suspicious.
The fire started around 1 a.m. Monday in the garage of a house on Old Guelph Rd., near Homestead Ave.
There was heavy smoke and flames coming out of the roof of the building.
Additional crews were called to the scene.
Fire fighters got the blaze under control within an hour.
Police say no one was injured.
