Hamilton police say no one injured in robbery at convenience store

Hamilton police responded to calls of robbery at a convenience store on Barton Street East and Gage Avenue North shortly after 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Police say they received reports of a man going into the store with a knife and demanding money from the register.

Investigators say the suspect fled the scene after an unknown amount of money was stolen. They say the suspect was heading east on Barton.

No injuries were reported.
