Firefighters quickly put out two small fires that were found on the front porch of the house.
No one was home at the time of the blaze.
A relative of the woman who lives in the home with her three children arrived on scene early Wednesday and was shocked to learn about the fire.
She said the home was recently listed for sale and her niece was in the process of moving out.
Police say there are no suspects in this arson on Beach Blvd. Fire erupted in two separate places on porch. Call came from unknown party who saw flames. Neighbours tell me they didn't even notice the fire, didn't even know what had happened until morning. @CHCHNews @morninglive pic.twitter.com/Vl0MBXD5YL
