Hamilton police return 2 horses home after ‘whimsical adventure’ overnight

Hamilton police helped bring 2 horses back to their home after they embarked on a “whimsical adventure” that took them through a Tim Hortons drive-thru overnight Friday.
Police were off to the rescue after officers happened upon 1-year-old Sunny and 32-year-old Dusty who wandered away from home overnight.
Their journey sent them frolicking through the snow and police say they were even spotted attempting to go through the Tim Hortons drive-thru by Peters Corners.

Officers were able to track their hoof prints to a property near Middletown Road and Regional Road 8 in Flamborough before they were able to safely reunite Sunny and Dusty with their owners in the early hours Friday morning.
