Hamilton police officer charged again

A Hamilton police officer has been arrested and charged with uttering threats.

It’s alleged that while off duty, 35-year old Constable Doug Sephton uttered threats of death or harm on June 5th.

Police say it was a domestic incident.

The five year member of the force is now being held for a bail hearing, and is expected to appear in Sopinka court on Wednesday.

Constable Sephton was already suspended from duty and facing a number of charges under the Police Services Act.
