Hamilton police make prohibited weapon, fentanyl arrest on York Boulevard

Hamilton police have arrested a man who was found in possession of illegal drugs and a prohibited weapon on York Boulevard on Thursday.
Officers from the High Enforcement Action Team (H.E.A.T) found the 24-year-old Hamilton man in possession of 13.5 grams of white cubed fentanyl, a working digital scale, a knife, baton and a black imitation firearm and a substantial amount of cash.
The man was charged with possession of fentanyl for trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon and failing to comply with probation.
