Hamilton Police looking to ID suspicious man

Hamilton Police are investigating after a 13 year old girl was approached by a suspicious man yesterday afternoon.

The girl says she was outside her house in the James Street North and Burlington Street East area, when a man tried to engage her in conversation. Police say he then placed his hand over her mouth, but fled the area after the girl started to scream.

He is described as a bald white man, 20 to 30 years old and was wearing a green shirt. Anyone with information is asked to call Hamilton Police at 905-546-3833 or call Crime Stoppersat 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
