Hamilton police looking for suspects after man, 36, gets shot

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect responsible for shooting someone Wednesday night.
Police responded to calls of a shooting at Woodlands Park on 501 Barton St. East shortly after 10 p.m.
Officers say they found a 36-year-old man suffering from a gunshot.

He was taken to the hospital where officers say he remains in stable condition with life-threatening injuries.
Police say they will search the park for any witnesses. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Det. Dave Brewster at 905-546-4067 or 905-546-4925.
Investigators are also asking any residents, business owners or drivers with cameras in their vehicles to check their footage for any suspicious activity between 9:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.
