Hamilton police look for help identifying criminal

Hamilton police are asking the public to help identify a man they believe is responsible for two assaults.

Police say a man was assaulted last month inside the Prince Edward tavern, while a sex worker was assaulted that same night on Barton Street East and Sherman Avenue North.

Police describe him as a white man, around 21 to 25 years old, with a dark beard and short hair.

He’s around five-foot-eight to five-foot-10 and was wearing a baseball cap with a white front and black logo.

He was also wearing a white v-neck button t-shirt, and ripped light blue jeans.
