Hamilton police investigating reports of body found near Bruce Trail in Waterdown

Multiple Hamilton police cruisers could be seen gathered east of Mill Street in Waterdown Thursday night for reports of a body found along a section of the Bruce Trail.

Hamilton Fire and paramedics responded alongside police around 4 p.m. to a part of the trail near 193 Mill Street South, between Union Street and Mountain Brow.

A man was reportedly found deceased but police say his death is not considered suspicious at this time.

Police officers remain in the area and an investigation is ongoing.

Detectives ask anyone driving in the area between noon and 4 p.m. with dash camera footage to contact Det. Barron at 905-546-2389 or Det. Sgt. Licop at 905-546-3851.

Hamilton Police continue to investigate the discovery of a deceased individual in Flamborough earlier today.
