A hate crime is being investigated in Hamilton’s east end.

In the parking lot of an apartment building on Congress Cres, a man came out this morning to find racist profanity spray painted on his car. Police have been taking photos and fingerprints; it’s not yet known if there is a suspect in mind.

A hate crime is a crime against a person or their property based on their race, ethnicitity, sexual orientation, religion or any similar factor.
