Hamilton police are investigating after the body of a woman was found in Hamilton Harbour, Saturday afternoon.

Police were called just before noon to 62 Leander Drive, near Bay Street North for a water rescue.

They say they are not releasing the name of the woman at this time.

The investigating continues.
