Hamilton police investigating a suspicious fire in Westdale Village

Smoke billowing from the windows at Tha’ar King clothes on King street west. When firefighters arrived the two storey building was engulfed in flames.

Police had to redirect traffic while fire crews worked to put out the blaze.

There are two commercial businesses on the ground floor with apartments above. Damage is estimated to be $250,000. The fire marshall has been called to investigate the cause since it was deemed to be suspicious.
