Hamilton Police investigate overnight shooting in the east end

Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Nov. 3 at approximately 3:30 a.m. in the area of Kings Forest Drive and Nova Drive.

Investigators say video footage shows a grey sedan and a white sedan driving aggressively in the area when several loud bangs were heard.

Both vehicles were last seen fleeing the scene northbound on Kings Forest Drive.

Investigators were notified after a resident found a shell casing on the road the same day.

Divisional Detectives and the Shooting Response Team are looking into the incident.

Residents in the area are asked to check their security footage. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
