Hamilton police investigate overnight shooting in east end, no injuries reported

Hamilton police officers will be in the area of Quigley Road and Greenhill Avenue following an overnight shooting.

Police were called to the area of 10 St. Andrews Dr. around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday for reports of shots fired.

No injuries were reported and no one was at the scene but police were able to confirm there was a shooting.

They say it’s early in the investigation but believe this was a targeted incident and a dark-coloured vehicle was involved.

Area residents are being asked to check their security cameras. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 905-546-2907.
