Police investigate fatal shooting at Hamilton Mountain bar

Hamilton police are investigating after a shooting at a bar on Upper Ottawa St. early this morning.

Officers were called to Raoabe Restaurant around 2:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, police found a 26-year-old male inside the bar with multiple gunshot wounds.

Paramedics transported the male to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Two male suspects were seen fleeing the bar in dark clothing.

There will be a heavy police presence in the area as police search for video and witnesses.

A large number of patrons were inside the bar at the time of the shooting and Hamilton police encourage anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
