Hamilton police investigate assault

Hamilton police found a 58 year old man lying in a pool of blood at a home on Cannon Street near Glendale Avenue.

Officers were responding to a 911 call from the home around 3am Wednesday morning.

After no one answered the door, they saw the man through a window.

He was then taken to hospital in serious but non-life threatening condition.

Police don’t believe the assault happened inside the home and are continuing their investigation.
