Hamilton police investigate arson that caused $50,000 in damages

Hamilton police are appealing to the public for help in identifying a suspect who allegedly broke into a restaurant at the end of May and deliberately started a fire.
Police say a suspicious fire broke out shortly before 6:30 a.m. on May 24 at a restaurant at 301 Crockett St. and caused approximately $50,000 in damages.
Recently obtained video surveillance footage shows a suspect breaking into the building and setting the fire.

The suspect is described as a man, 30 to 40-years-old with short buzzed hair. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, a black balaclava, blue jeans, and white and black running shoes.
