Hamilton police are making a new addition to uniforms with baseball caps becoming an option for officers’ daily attire.

In a social media post on Friday, the police force said that all Hamilton officers will now have the option to don a baseball cap with their uniforms.

Hamilton Police says the move is representative of the commitment held to the modernization and innovation of the city’s police force.

They say it is also a key component in the goal of building a more approachable image for Hamilton officers.
