Hamilton police identify man charged in stabbing death of his parents

Hamilton police have identified the man charged in the death of his parents on Monday.

Police say 61-year-old Moui Khuu and 67-year-old Hung Vo were fatally stabbed in a downtown Hamilton apartment building Monday afternoon.

Phuoc Hoa Vo, 34, has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder.

He was taken to hospital on Monday, along with his parents, with stab wounds.

Police say he remains in hospital in an induced coma.

Forensic investigators have finished their investigation at the apartment of the victims.

Police have said this was a family dispute.
