Hamilton Police identify driver of suspicious vehicle reported in Binbrook

Hamilton Police have ended their investigation into a suspicious vehicle reported in the Binbrook area last week.

Police were called to the area of Laidman Park on Wednesday.

Officers were told there was an interaction between a young person and at least three occupants inside the vehicle.

Police were able to identify a delivery vehicle and driver through interviews and security camera footage.

Detectives say the incident did not occur as initially reported and the driver’s actions were in line with business procedures.

Police are thanking the public for information that led them to identify the vehicle and driver.

The investigation is now closed.
