Police are turning to the public for help identifying a man who robbed a store at knifepoint.

Last year, on Oct. 29, a lone masked man entered a commercial business near Main Street East and Sanford Avenue South.

Once inside, he brandished a knife and stole an undisclosed amount of property, according to authorities.

Police say he was last seen fleeing the business by bicycle and was travelling north on Sanford Avenue from Main Street, then west along Aikman Avenue.

Authorities are circulating several images from the incident in hopes someone from the public may recognize the individual.

Investigators describe the robber as a white man who is about 25 years old. They say he has a slim build and was wearing a black hat with a white circle logo, a black North Face jacket and a blue bandana over his face.

He rides a blue BMX bicycle with a white seat.

Police are asking anyone with information on this man to contact them by calling 905-546-8939 or 905-546-2991.
