Hamilton Police continue to investigate weekend’s triple shooting

Hamilton Police are looking for two suspects after a triple shooting that took place over the weekend in downtown Hamilton.

Gunshots rang out shortly before midnight on Saturday outside Sheila’s Place.

Security camera footage showed a fight outside the bar shortly before a young man came running across the street firing 5 or 6 shots from a handgun.

Police haven’t released any descriptions of the men they’re looking for, but according to the bar’s owner Sheila Anglin, the gunman looked to be 16 or 17 years old.

“I see a fight outside the ground here and when we look again we see they went around the corner outside and then we see two guys run across the street from across the way, and they see the guy start shooting shooting all the people that was in the street.”

Three men were sent to hospital but are are expected to make full recoveries.
