Hamilton police chief Eric Girt says he is taking responsibility for the strained relationship between police and the LGBTQ community.

Its been months of protests and backlash, following the violence at the pride event in June. Last night, Hamilton police sat down with LGBTQ community members to listen and share ideas on how to mend broken trust.
