Hamilton police charge 2 men wanted in June shootings

Hamilton police have arrested and charged three males, including two who were wanted for shootings last month.
The trio was arrested while officers responded to a break-in at a residence near Barton St. East and Gage Ave. North Monday afternoon.
Police also seized a stolen vehicle, three guns and $2,400 in cash during the arrest.
Alexander La, 21, of Hamilton is facing four charges. He was wanted for a shooting that happened in the area of Hess St. North and Market St. on June 12. Two men suffered non-life-threatening injuries and several vehicles were damaged as a result.
Marques Griffiths, 18, of Hamilton was charged with two offences. He was wanted for a separate shooting that happened on June 27 near Main St. East and Fairleigh Ave. South, where a woman sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Griffiths was also wanted for two counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a firearm in connection with an incident on June 23 on Barton St. East and Melrose Ave. North.
A 16-year-old Hamilton boy is facing two charges as well.
