Hamilton Police believe drive-by shooting was targeted

Hamilton Police have released details of a vehicle that may have been involved in Sunday’s drive-by shooting on the west Mountain.
Police say multiple shots were fired from a dark-coloured Audi sedan toward a group of people gathered outside a home on Elgar Ave. around 6:15 p.m.
No one was injured.
Police say the investigation is ongoing but they believe it was a targeted incident.
Moments after the shooting, someone reported a blue Audi A4 four-door sedan driving erratically in the area of Garth St. and Scenic Dr., about two kilometres away.
The vehicle was last seen driving the wrong way on Park St. S.
The licence plate is CKHY 362.
Police say the vehicle was reported stolen before the shooting.
The firearm has not been recovered.
They are asking people to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity.
