Hamilton police arrest 36-year-old man in relation to bank robbery

Hamilton police have arrested a 36-year-old man in relation to a bank robbery in the east end of the city.
Officers say a male suspect entered a bank in the area of Barton St. East and Kenilworth Avenue North on Thursday shortly before 5 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money and saying that he has a gun.
The suspect left after obtaining the money.

Police responded to reports of the robbery and found the suspect within minutes in the area of Graham Avenue and Main St. East.
Jason Tyler Bell, 36, has been charged for robbery, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failure to comply with a release order.
