Hamilton officer charged in fail to remain crash

A Hamilton Police officer has been arrested for a fail to remain crash last year.

Police say the off-duty crash happened on Dec. 8.

Const. Robert Beck, 35, of Hamilton has been charged with one count of fail to remain or stop under the Criminal Code.

Beck has been with the police service since 2007.

He’s been released and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 27.

Beck has been assigned to administrative duties.
