Hamilton officer charged

A Hamilton police officer with 12 years of service has been charged, after a domestic incident in Guelph.

He was off duty at the time. He has been suspended from his duties, and will be in court later this month, charged with uttering threats. The officer’s name is not being released, because it may identify the victim.
