Little Ray’s Nature Centre, located at Barton Street and Gage Avenue in Hamilton, announced they are closing via social media.

The post says their “mission beats stronger than ever,” and they will continue exotic animal rescues through their centres in Ottawa and Syracuse, New York.

The reptiles in their care will be sent to new homes, with temporary exhibits coming back to Hamilton.

The last day the centre will be open for general admission is Monday, April 14.

Private tours and educational programming that is already booked will continue until June.
