Hamilton motorcyclist injured in east end crash

A motorcyclist has serious injuries after a colliding with a vehicle in Hamilton’s east end Thursday night.

Hamilton Police officers were called to the intersection of Queenston Rd. and Nash Rd. just before midnight.

A motorcycle travelling eastbound on Queenston struck a vehicle that was travelling westbound and was attempting to make a left turn.

The 49-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

His condition has improved and is now said to have serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old woman from Hamilton, was not injured.

The investigation is in its early stages but police have ruled out impairment.
