Hamilton mother faces child porn charges

A 46 year old mother from Hamilton faces child pornography charges after police allege she took pictures of her children and sent them to an overseas pen-pal.

Police became aware of the woman after a 50-year-old man was arrested in London, England for possession of child porn. The investigation lead police to the woman, whose three children are now in the care of the Catholic Children’s Aid Society. Her name is being withheld to protect the childrens’ identities.
