Hamilton man charged with weapons offences

Hamilton police have arrested a man armed with several weapons in the woods near the Chedoke golf course.

Police say he was wearing camouflage clothing and a tactical vest, and carrying a knife, bear spray, a baton and a machete.

Officers also found an air pistol and air rifle in a car nearby.

28 year old Deyuan Gong of Hamilton has been charged.
