Hamilton man charged with stunt driving after going 57 km/h over the posted limit

A 19 year old man, from Hamilton, has been charged with stunt driving after going 57 km/h over the posted limit.

Shortly after midnight Hamilton Police officers were conducting speed limit enforcement on the Red Hill Valley Parkway, when they saw an SUV travelling northbound at 147 km/h. The speed limit on the Red Hill Valley Parkway is 90 km/h.

The driver’s license was seized and his vehicle has been impounded for 7days.
