Hamilton man charged with careless driving in crash that injured 14-year-old pedestrian

Hamilton police have charged a man in connection with a collision that left a 14-year-old pedestrian with serious injuries.
Around 2:30 p.m. on March 30, the teen was crossing Dundurn St. and Main St. West when she was hit by a 2016 Hyundai motor vehicle.
Police said in a press release Wednesday a 49-year-old Hamilton man has been charged with careless driving causing bodily harm.
He is scheduled to appear in court on July 27.
Officers said the pedestrian is at home recovering from the injuries sustained from the crash.
