Hamilton man charged in fatal collision in Stoney Creek

A 32-year-old man has been charged after a fatal collision in Stoney Creek last month.
Emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle crash on South Service Rd. near Green Rd. shortly before 7 a.m. on July 30.
Police say a Nissan sedan was travelling eastbound on the South Service Rd. towards Green Rd. when it struck a grey Fiat vehicle from behind.
The driver of the Fiat, a 60-year-old Hamilton man, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the sedan, 32-year-old Sean Snowden, has been charged with dangerous operation causing death and criminal negligence causing death. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 19.
