Hamilton man arrested after being pulled over driving a stolen car

A 42 year old Hamilton man has been arrested in the King Street East and Parkdale Avenue North area.

Jason Mathias was arrested after police saw him driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen. There was a warrant out for his arrest after failing to comply with previous court ordered conditions on a probation.

The officer also seized a small quantity of crystal meth, a bottle suspected of being GHB, digital measuring scales and $300 suspected of being from the sale of drugs

He has been charged with possesion of stolen property under $5000, possesion for the purpose of trafficking, and crime under $5000.
