Hamilton man arrested in series of break-ins in Burlington and Oakville

A Hamilton man has been arrested in a series of garage and shed break-ins in Burlington and Oakville.

Halton police say there were 37 incidents reported to them since May 23 where vehicles, garages and outdoor sheds were broken into. Multiple items were stolen including high-end bicycles and tools.

Police say the accused was using a stolen vehicle.

Halton police arrested Dylan Brown, 28, in Hamilton on Wednesday.

He faces several charges including 11 counts and break and enter, four counts of theft under $5,000 and fraud.

Police say approximately $70,000 worth of stolen property was recovered when officers executed a search warrant.

They say their investigation continues and they’re looking to identify other people that may have been involved in these incidents.
