Hamilton man, 33, arrested after $200K in stolen goods seized from pawn shop

Hamilton police have arrested a 33-year-old man after more than $200,000 in stolen goods was seized from a local pawn shop.
Back in December, police launched an investigation into the trafficking of stolen property through a Hamilton pawn shop.
Police say the investigation revealed the shop had been trafficking large amounts of stolen goods since 2018.
Stephen Strileski, of Hamilton, is facing a slew of charges including multiple counts of fraud and possession of property obtained by crime.
Investigators have identified seven local businesses as the victims of the thefts. Police are working to locate any other potential victims and return the property to its rightful owners.
