Hamilton makes top ten list of rattiest cities

Hamilton has made the top ten list of “rattiest” cities in Ontario.

Pest control company Orkin Canada has released its list the 25 “rattiest” places in the province.

Here’s the top five:

1. Toronto
2. Mississauga
3. Scarborough
4. London
5. Etobicoke

In our area, Hamilton is ranked 9th, Oakville 11th and Burlington 13th while St. Catharines and Niagara Falls are 23rd and 24th.

Orkin says you can keep rats from nesting in your home by trimming trees and bushes away from exterior walls, sealing cracks in doors, windows and foundations and keeping your property clean inside and out.
