Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs honour Cirillo

The Hamilton Junior Bulldogs honoured Corporal Cirillo before a game on Sunday.

Members of the Cirillo family as well as members of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders were on hand.

Nathan Cirillo’s young cousin, Ryan Stepien, plays on the minor Bantam Bulldogs.

As a show of support for the Cirillo family and the Stepien family the bulldogs had a special ceremony before Sunday’s game.

Corporal Nathan Cirillo’s son Marcus dropped the ceremonial puck.

Cirillo’s cousin Ryan Stepian was also at centre ice for the bulldogs.

Cirillo’s sisters were both there for the emotional ceremony as well as Nathan’s stepdad and uncle.

The tribute also included the singing of the national anthem followed by a moment of silence and “Amazing Grace.”
